CARIBBEAN LUX was born from a love of beauty, color, and the extraordinary spirit of the Caribbean.
For our founder, Ligia G. Munoz, that inspiration began in Colombia, where vibrant colors, natural beauty, and a rich cultural heritage shaped her appreciation for jewelry and personal expression.
Her journey, however, was not always easy.
Faced with violence and uncertainty, Ligia made the courageous decision to leave her homeland and build a safer future for her two daughters. Arriving in the United States without speaking English, she began rebuilding her life with determination, resilience, and hope.
She learned a new language, embraced new opportunities, and eventually became a proud American citizen.
Through it all, her connection to the beauty and spirit of the Caribbean remained.
Today, CARIBBEAN LUX reflects that journey.
